Tournament Fishing
In the early 1980s the girls at S & O's decided to form a fishing team and try their luck on the Marlin tournament circuit. Several of them had been ardent offshore fishermen for years and had plenty of experience catching the larger species of gamefish that inhabit the waters off the Outer Banks.
Within a couple short years they were serious competition for the men in any tournament they entered. What had started as an idea for getting out on the water and having some fun had quickly evolved into a series of whuppin's for anyone with the nerve to take them on.
